Who Am I?

My name is Stephanie and I have just graduated from Oregon State University with my Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition - Dietetics. Previously, I've completed a Bachelor's of Arts in International Studies from Portland State University. Fueled by my own desires to improve my health, I returned to university in 2022 to pursue this second degree in the hopes of becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist so that I may help people improve their relationships with food.

What Are My Professional Goals?

I am set to begin a Master's of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health at Stephen F. Austin State University in East Texas Fall of 2026. After completing this two year DI program, I plan on sitting for the CDR exam and working as clinical Dietitian for the first 2-3 years of my career. Afterwards, however, I aim to build my own private practice, seeing individuals one-on-one to help them improve their relationship with food, however that looks for the person I'm helping. Beyond that, I plan on building a wider reach with a nutrition basics podcast to combat the large amount of nutrition misinformation in this world.

My Key Interests/Skills

With 8+ years of customer service experience, my key skills include communication, customer service, and time-management. My various customer service roles have also instilled a sense of hard work and increased positivity in the face of hardship.

Additionally, I've spent Spring term 2026 planning and putting on an event as part of a class project for a Food Service Management course. As such, I was given the title of VP of Finance and was tasked with managing 13 individuals and making all financial decisions for this event. Through this experience and past managerial experiences, I've built a wide-array of leadership and management skills that I am excited to continue utilizing and building in future endeavors.
