As part of a final project for my Communications in Dietetics course at Oregon State University, I spent the term researching the benefits and drawbacks of whole grains and the role they play in healthy eating. I compiled the research and wrote an article suitable for general audiences to communicate my findings. Additionally, I presented the information in a 15-minute presentation in front of the entire class.


As part of a Social Marketing in Dietetics course at Oregon State University, I conducted a marketing campaign along with four other dietetic students. Our social marketing campaign was to promote healthy eating on a budget for busy college students. We spent the term doing market research, coming up with a plan, and finally, pitching our idea in front of investors made up of classmates as our final project.
